Virtual Clinic Signs
Project brief
Every quarter, the exam room signs in Sharp Rees-Stealy clinics are replaced with updated signs, usually regarding seasonal messaging such as flu clinics or sports physicals. This process has become costly, outdated, and time-consuming for onsite staff who have to replace the signage.
Solution
Create a landing page that holds all exam room and clinic sign information that typically is cycled quarterly. A new, static sign replaces quarterly signs which contains a link and QR code for patients to access the landing page and general important health information.
Results
In one year of this new program, departments saved money and time while increasing visibility of health information on the landing page. Pediatrics saved over $180,000 in one year, making this project a success.
